Some actors and actresses have seen their prime and others just continue to find their way onto the silver screen. For Catherine Zeta Jones, that prime was in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when she was staring in some of the more popular movies of the day. Not only did she catch the eye of those in the audience, she also caught the eye of Michael Douglas and he presented her with quite a ring.
There is a significant age difference between these two stars, as Douglas is 25 years older than Jones. When he proposed to his bride to be, he pulled out all of the stops with a stunning 10-carat marquise diamond ring worth some $2 million. Since the engagement, they have gone on to have a rather long and successful marriage together. She claims that he is quite energetic despite his age and it’s easy to see why.
