Grace Kelly engagement ring: $4.3 Million
When it comes to putting the right ring on the finger of your significant other, most men put a lot of thought into it. They typically buy the best ring they can, and the don’t usually come close to anything in the $4 million dollar range. When Prince Rainier III of Monaco decided to propose to Grace Kelly, he gave her a nice ring but it turned out to be somewhat modest.
When he found out that most other famous individuals were wearing much larger rings, he decided to upgrade. Kelly ended up with a ring worth some $4.3 million and it even became her ring in a film (High Society) because she wasn’t supposed to take it off. The two of them met in Cannes and, after she went to visit him over Christmas, he popped the question only 3 days later.
