Paris Hilton engagement ring: $4.7 Million
The engagement ring is a symbol of your undying love and commitment but, from time to time, they may not quite be enough, even if they are huge. When Paris Latsis proposed to Paris Hilton in 2005, it was done in style. He put a ring on her finger that included a large rectangular cut diamond between 2 triangle cut baguettes. It was worth $4.7 million and was so large, Paris didn’t like wearing it because it hurt her finger.
Unfortunately, Paris and Paris eventually parted company, but the ring was used for something quite nice. It was auctioned off in order to help earn money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. As it turns out, being the heiress of multiple billions of dollars and not even a nearly $5 million ring could win her over. I guess the next guy will have to shoot higher but I don’t believe they are lining up for the chance.
